This week I speak with Dan Sheptooha and the important work of the Family Relationship Centres helping families right across Australia.
This week I had an incredibly important discussion with Dan Sheptooha, who has a very unique insight into family law and mediation. Dan has a degree in psychology, is a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and also a family lawyer. He has the qualifications and insight I think a lot of lawyers are very envious of!
In this episode I talk to Dan about the work he undertook in a Family Relationship Centre (FRC's). Family Relationship Centres are an Australian Government Initiative to help families right across Australia to build better family relationships. A lot of that work is with separated families who are provided with support and assistance post separation that is low or no cost to them. There are 65 FRC's across Australia and they are staffed by wonderful organisations such as Centacare, Relationships Australia and Anglicare.
Thanks Dan for your insights ands or the important work you and so many other practitioners do in FRC's right across Australia.
